I Once had a Side-Kick called Donnie
(a poem, of sorts)

I once had a side-kick called Donnie,
He was ugly as sin
And, stocious on gin,
he called me not Oscar but Johnnie.

Well it ended in tears
When a narrative jerk
Poured acid upon our affairs.

Cyberbullied and aching,
my plastic hands shaking,
we embraced in the glare of their stares.
To my cry, "Fare thee well"
Donnie slurred, 'Go to hell!"
And his cackles still ring in my ears.

But he kissed me goodbye,
And the weight of my sigh
Sank the mob's heckles and jeers.
