She was born in Northern Ireland in 1974. She holds a BA Hons Fine Art (University of Ulster, Belfast) MSc Interactive Media (University of Limerick) & PBR in the Arts Certificate (Stanford online) . She is a previous recipient of various Arts Council of Ireland and Arts Council of Northern Ireland bursaries, including  the Arts Council of Northern Ireland’s PS1/MoMA International Studio Artists Residency award (19981999).

She lives and works in the Netherlands.
